Medacs is seeking Experienced Recruitment Consultants – Remote Area Nursing & General Nursing

We’re looking for experienced recruiters to join the Medacs team and take ownership of high‑potential remote area and general nursing desks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on relationship building, loves growing a desk commercially, and wants to be part of a fast‑paced, high‑performing recruitment environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Proactively source high‑quality nursing candidates through networking, referrals, database management, social media, and job boards

• Build and maintain strong client and candidate relationships across Australia

• Screen, interview, and match candidates to remote or general nursing assignments

• Manage your own full 360 desk, including business development and ongoing portfolio growth

• Identify new business opportunities and convert them into long‑term partnerships

• Coordinate travel bookings, onboarding, and compliance requirements to ensure smooth placements

• Contribute commercially and strategically to a collaborative, high‑performing team environment

What You’ll Bring:

You’ll succeed if you’re:

• An experienced recruitment consultant (temp/contract experience highly preferred)

• Commercially minded with a strong track record of hitting or exceeding targets

• Skilled in building long‑term relationships and delivering a consultative service

• Proactive, resilient, and confident managing a busy, fast‑moving desk

• An excellent communicator and negotiator

• Bonus: Healthcare recruitment experience is highly regarded!
